ROBERT BANTING, President

After graduating from the University of Florida with a degree in Business Administration, majoring in Real Estate and Urban Land Studies, Bob moved back to South Florida where he began appraising at Anderson & Carr in 1973.He earned his MAI (Member of Appraisal Institute) in 1984 and shortly after became a partner in the business. He became President and managing partner of the company in 1994.

With over four decades of real estate experience, Bob has established himself as a preeminent expert in real estate appraisal, consulting and commercial brokerage and has worked on some of the most complex land deals in South Florida. A highly regarded expert witness in both public and private sector, Bob played a key role in shaping downtown West Palm Beach as an advisor to the Downtown West Palm Beach Master Plan.

Bob has served as director of the University of Florida Real Estate Advisory Board and as a member of the Property Tax Administration Task Force for the Florida Department of Revenue.

A lifelong Palm Beach County native, Bob has been married for over 40 years with 2 children and 4 grandchildren. He is an avid tennis player and fisherman who stays actively involved in the community through such organizations as the Kiwanis and his local church.
